About the event
Don't just watch - Learn! These short Workshops are perfect for connecting with other Performers, Aspiring Performers, and Comedy Enthusiasts as we zoom in to pieces of Acting, Improv Comedy and Stand-Up Comedy. It's a great time of laughs, learning, and connecting!
Our Workshops are led in a "Teach you where you're at" way, which means that whether you've been performing for years or you've never done a bit of performing ever before, you'll have something to learn and something to share in a safe environment that embraces trying something new.
We're hosting 3 Workshops this weekend:
- Acting Workshop (1:00-2:00) - Finding & Expanding your Vocal Range - In this workshop, we're going to lead you through a few exercises to find your default vocal range, then expand that range on stage. You'll learn something about yourself you might not know!
- Improv Comedy Workshop (2:00-3:00) - What's my Purpose? Using Purpose as Direction - Purpose is a powerful tool in Improv, because it can help set quick, solid foundations for Environment, Relationships & Conflict. Join the Workshop to see how!
- Stand-Up Comedy Workshop (3:00-4:00) - Turning 5 into 10: Growing your Content - Creating content is a lot like gardening; If you want more fruit, you can always plant more seeds, but you can also grow the plants you have and maximize them. During this time, we'll explore the latter!
